National Pathology Week

South West London Pathology took part in National Pathology Week (NPW) in November. NPW is an annual event giving pathology departments the opportunity to showcase and explain their work to the public.

A wide variety of events take place across the country. SWLP’s stall was at the entrance to the Grosvenor Wing at St George’s. Hospital staff, patients, students and the public were able to find out more about pathology.

Staff from Microbiology, Clinical Blood Sciences and Cellular Pathology volunteered their time on the stalls to promote pathology by showing samples, giving demonstrations and explaining what we do in our pathology laboratories.
