Training is crucial to the running of a modern pathology service and to support this, we have training officers in all disciplines. We also offer staff the opportunity to apply for financial support for relevant training opportunities to help them in their role.
We are always keen to help our staff progress by offering opportunities for promotion and to support this, in the majority of cases we advertise our vacancies up to band 6 internally.
In the last 12 months, we had 48 internal promotions, underscoring our commitment to supporting and developing our staff.
