Blood Transfusion now live with new Laboratory Information Management System

South West London Pathology (SWLP) is replacing its Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The new LIMS system is Winpath Enterprise from industry-leader Clinisys, who have introduced this system to many laboratory networks across the UK.

Blood Transfusion went live with the new system today at 9am at St George’s Hospital, Croydon Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Kingston Hospital will go live with the new system tomorrow at 9am.

Winpath Enterprise is a state of the art, remotely-hosted managed service, and will be introduced to all of the SWLP sites, making the network more stable and resilient

Over the next year, Winpath Enterprise will be deployed for all SWLP disciplines.

We expect there to be very little disruption for end users, however if you have any questions or concerns you can email SWLPComms@stgeorges.nhs.uk.
