Biomedical Science Day 2019 was marked by SWLP with displays in the Medical School reception and the atrium in Atkinson Morely Wing at St George’s Hospital.
Staff from Cellular Pathology, Clinical Blood Sciences and Microbiology presented passers-by with innovative displays representing their areas of work in celebration of the day, which is an initiative run by the Institute of Biomedical Science. The displays included actual worms (Ascaris) in jars to represent parasitology, slides under microscopes for passers-by to look through, and morphology pictures and fake blood bag units.
Many thanks to all the staff involved, who made sure the day was marked in style.
