Collection conditions

The laboratory provides approved semen collection pots. Samples collected in non-approved containers will be rejected.

Contact the laboratory for details on 020 8401 3000 ext 5560, Monday to Friday between 09:00 – 16:00 or email the laboratory at ch-tr.andrology@nhs.net

Patients are strongly advised to produce semen samples using our dedicated specimen collection facility next to the laboratory to ensure the specimens are processed in a timely manner.

Patients with a valid doctor/GP test request form can book appointments online using the link below.

Semen sample analysis and test reports comply with World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines.
