Collection conditions
For nasopharyngeal aspirate, bronchoalveolar lavage, endotracheal aspirate, nose swab, throat swab, nose and throat swab, nasopharyngeal swab (NPS). In order to ensure a same day result, specimens should be received in the microbiology laboratory by 9:30am for RPCR.
