Additional information
Microscopy is not performed on renal/bladder stone specimens. Culture 2-3 days. Some specimens may have prolonged incubation in which case a result will be issued in 5-7 days.
Use dry sterile bottle. All stone samples should be collected aseptically and transferred directly to sterile sample containers with no additives of any kind.
