Reporting frequency | TAT - Microscopy is not performed on Post mortem specimes. Culture 2 – 3 days. Some specimens may have prolonged incubation in which case a result will be issued in 5-7 days. |
Collection conditions
Use dry sterile bottle. All tissue samples should be collected aseptically and transferred directly to sterile sample containers with no additives of any kind.
