Faeces – Clostridium Difficile (GDH/Cdiff toxin test) Investigation



Test Information

  • Container:
    Stool Pot 30ml (Blue)
  • Min vol:
    Fill at least a third of the container. Testing is only performed on diarrhoeal stool specimens (liquid or semi-formed faeces).
  • Reporting Frequency:
    TAT - CDT results available daily
  • Additional information

    Repeat toxin testing need only be performed on previously positive GDH/Toxin negative samples. Positive patients are not retested within a 28 day period.
