SWLP chosen as venue to hold Royal College of Pathologists exams

SWLP was chosen for the second year to host the prestigious Royal College of Pathologists Fellowship Examination for bacteriology and virology.

Hosting the exams was a collaborative effort with St George’s University medical school providing the labs; the hospital trust providing the consultants; and SWLP’s Medical Microbiology dept provided the biomedical science staff and support staff.

The exam is taken in two parts and trainees are awarded Fellowship status of the Royal College of Pathologists upon successful completion of both parts.
