New biochemistry analysers to go live on Monday (30 September) at the SWLP laboratory at Croydon Hospital

South West London Pathology (SWLP) is introducing new biochemistry analysers. New Beckman Coulter Diagnostics analysers will replace the aging Roche equipment.

The analysers will go live at the SWLP laboratory at Croydon Hospital on Monday 30 September.

The move to the new analysers will allow SWLP to provide a more reliable and consistent service, using the most up-to-date technology.

The introduction of the new equipment will mean that some of the biochemistry reference ranges will change. Details of the tests affected, included the new reference ranges, can be found below:

The new reference ranges will also be included when results for affected tests are sent out.
