On Wednesday (4 April), the Croydon blood transfusion service went live with the Immucor system. Immucor is the leading provider of transfusion and transplantation diagnostic products in the UK. The new system is fully automated and has high accuracy.
Network Lead for Blood Transfusion Vince Michael says, “We are delighted to have gone live with the new Immucor system at Croydon Hospital and will be introducing it at all sites across the SWLP network in the coming months.
“I am looking forward to working with the team at Immucor to make our blood transfusion services the best they can be.”
