This prestigious qualification, accredited by the British Blood Transfusion Society (BBTS) in collaboration with the University of Manchester, marks a significant milestone in Cristina’s professional journey. Cristina’s path to certification was anything but straightforward. Originally scheduled to sit her exam in May, she made the decision to postpone it to November following the birth of her baby in April. Juggling the demands of studying with the responsibilities of caring for a newborn was no small feat, but Cristina approached the challenge with remarkable determination and focus. Reflecting on her experience, she described the overwhelming feeling of relief when she received her results. “It was a lot to manage, especially with the baby, but I’m so glad I committed to it. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do, and now I feel more confident and knowledgeable in my role,” she shared.
