Container:Boric Acid and Urine Cup, 10ml, (Red)
Collection conditions:Specimens should be transported and processed within 4h if possible. If transportation is delayed refrigeration is essential for non-boric acid urines.-
Min vol:For small volume samples <10ml, such as paediatric patients use 60ml non boric acid container.
Reporting Frequency:TAT - 1-2 days for culture, microscopy available same day
Additional informationSample stability - 1 week. Specimens that are not processed will be retained in the laboratory for up to 48 hours after the report is issued
