SWLP member of staff wins RJ Lavington prize from IBMS

Congratulations to Alena Charnetski for gaining the highest mark in the Higher Specialist Diploma in Cytopathology and for winning the RJ Lavington prize!

The RJ Lavington prize is awarded each year to a member who achieves the highest mark across ALL disciplines in the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) Higher Specialist Diploma.

Alena will be presented with a medal, certificate and a cheque from the President of the IBMS at a special ceremony in June 2018.

About the RJ Lavington Award

The RJ Lavington Prize was established in 1977 in memory of Richard Lavington, who was General Secretary of the IBMS for 22 years. This prize has been annually awarded to the candidate who at the first attempt receives the highest mark in the Higher Specialist Diploma examination across all disciplines.
