In October SWLP hosted a visit from eight students from Chestnut Grove Academy, a local secondary school in Balham.

South West London Pathology (SWLP) hosted a delegation of senior hospital managers and clinicians from China in October.
Wandsworth GP event
In July, Dr Frances Boa (Consultant Clinical Scientist, Clinical Blood Sciences) and Dr Leslie Perry (Consultant Clinical Scientist, Clinical Blood Sciences), led a pathology education session for GPs in Wandsworth on hormone testing. The session was organised by Wandsworth CCG.
Doctors from Kazakhstan visit our pathology services
SWLP hosted a group of transfusion and haematology doctors from Kazakhstan on Friday 26 June. They visited St George’s and had a talk on transfusion services in the UK as well as transfusion services at St George’s (including the provision of blood components to support major trauma).
